Creating art with a sense of whimsy and playful paint-box colors is a source of great joy for me. My hope is that when you experience my artwork, a bit of that whimsy and joy will spill over into your life too.

I've been a professional artist for most of my adult life. I have designed greeting cards for the wholesale market, and sold my silk-screened giftware, porcelain jewelry, gifts, and sculpture at shows, galleries and gift shops over a span of 20 years. About 15 years ago I turned to watercolor painting and began to sell my work at shows and galleries. In 2008 I entered the brave new world of internet sales and opened my first Etsy shop, creating whimsical watercolor portraits of pets and their owners. I created more whimiscal illustrations using pen and ink with watercolor, and used those images to create jewelry, fabric giftware, quilt blocks, and more...
But it's always good for an old dog to learn new tricks!
I'm currently taking an online class from Kelly Rae Roberts called Spirit Wings and I am experimenting with mixed media art. I've been combining collage, acrylic paints, stamping and hand lettering and here are some of the results:
